At the rear of the house is our dining room which is a great place to get the maps and guidebooks out and plan for tomorrow over a glass of wine. We have several Lakeland walk books in the bookcase and the chest of drawers has games and toys for all ages. 

The door in the corner  leads down to the cellar and there you will find a buggy, high chair, potty and portable fireguards for the front and rear fires. You are welcome to use them and they may save some much needed luggage space. That's what we do !

There is also an ironing board, iron, clothes pegs and other useful bits and pieces in there, but just a word of warning, the cellar is not safe for children and there is a child lock on the door.
