We have very recently installed a brand new well equipped kitchen with gas cooker, fridge / freezer, washer / dryer / dishwasher, microwave, toaster, kettle and plenty of crockery, cutlery, pots and pans, and childrens plates and mugs.

The window overlooks a small rear yard and at the back of the yard runs a very quaint lane, all slate walls and outside toilets. It looks better than it sounds ! If you are a foodie, the village has several deli's, a greengrocer, bakers and a real butcher.  There is also a Spar and a Co-op. Nearby supermarkets are Booth's in Windermere, an ASDA and Morrisons in Kendal and a Co-op in Keswick.
