On the first floor is the main bedroom with a lovely double bed, chest of drawers and wardrobe to keep all your clothes, shoes and walking gear neat and tidy, as if !.  On top of the wardrobe is a folding travel cot and there is room at the foot of the bed to put it.  The pictures below include the view from the window over the rooftops of Ambleside with Wansfell in the distance.

      


    There are bedside cabinets on each side of the bed, a clock radio and bedside lamps.


You can just see how centrally located the cottage is, all the village pubs, restaurants and shops are within a five minute stroll. The house itself is on a quiet street away from the one way system.
